Only two days after Real Sociedad obtained the promotion to the First Division, Caja Laboral Baskonia has won the ACB basketball league title wining the third consecutive match against Barcelona (79-78).

Shooting Stars return to the Premier League

One of Nigeria's most famous clubs, Shooting Stars of Ibadan, have stayed on track for a long awaited return to the Premier League after they beat closest rivals Dolphins 2-1 at home on Saturday.

The ASTORE team, who were the first Nigerian club to win a major international honour in 1976, were relegated from the top division three years ago.
