Astore sponsors the Star Peace Cup in Korea

Astore, a popular brand in South Korea, sponsors the Star Peace Cup, a competition that aims to promote peace on Earth through the universal language of football.Astore has sponsored the Star Peace Cup in 2007, 2008 and again this year in 2010. This is an amateur tournament between teams of comedians, movie and TV stars, models, and other socialites from Korean society, including doctors and lawyers.
These are some of the celebrities that have participated this year in the Star Peace Cup wearing the Astore t-shirt:
• Actors: Jeong Junho, Jang Donggeun, Lee Deukhwa, An Seongki, Park Junghun and Choi Sujong
• Comedians: Seo Kyungseok, Lee Younseok, Kim Youngman, Kim Kukjin and Lee Sugeun
• Singers: Lee Munse, Kim Heunkuk and Tak Jeahun
This friendly competition has come in various formats. In the past a match was placed every weekend for several months, but in this last year it was limited to one week, from 17 to 23 October, even though the matches will be re-broadcasted in South Korea’s leading TV stations, since it is a very popular tournament. This is a phenomenal showcase for our brand in this Asian country.
