Astore will supply uniforms for three First Division teams this season
2010-08-26
For the season that begins this Sunday, August 29, Astore will supply the uniforms for three First Division teams--the Real Sociedad, the Sporting of Gijón, and the Club Atlético Osasuna. The Real Sociedad´s promotion and the new collaboration agreement signed with Osasuna (which has returned to the brand after a two year pause during which time the team worked with the Italian brand Diadora) has given Astore a much stronger First Division presence than in prior seasons. As the supplier for three teams, the Gipuzkoan brand is now one of the leading football equipment companies in the top Spanish league.
The clubs from Navarre and San Sebastian presented their new uniforms this summer, which include new designs and materials, and now all that remains is for their debut in the much anticipated start of the League.
Continuing along the lines of football, in addition to the previously mentioned clubs, this year Astore will also supply uniforms for Eibar (Second Division B), the Catalonia National Football Team (which will present its new look in September), the Basque National Football Team, Shooting Stars (a team in the Nigeria Premier League), and Chunnam Dragons and Ju Ju United (two historical clubs of South Korea´s K-League). On another hand, Astore will not be the uniform supplier for the Hercules team this year.
